    1. Reverse radial forearm flap (Shanghai flap)
    2. Reverse posterior interosseus flap

    Objective :
    To discuss, delinate and demonstrate the island flaps used for resurfacing or reconstruction of the hand; includes most important understanding of tissue perfusion and of the functional vascular anatomy

    Points covered:
    1. Vascular system of the hand (with understanding of the angiosome if needed)
    2. Nerve anatomy of the hand
    3. Individual presentation of each flap with the help of diagrams through cadaveric dissection: Reverse radial forearm flap, posterior interosseous flap,kite flap (first DMCA flap), littler flap, heterodigital arterialized flaps
    It is also includes the anatomical basis and the useful landmarks for safe planning and dissections
    4. The indications, advantages and limitations of those flaps

    To discuss, demonstrate and delineate generap principles of tendon transfer as well as the selection of specific tendon transfer for reconstruction of the hand

    1. General principle of tendon transfer
    2. Selection and operative techniques of tendon transfer used to restore wrist and digital extenson (radial nerve), thumb opposition (median nerve), intrinsic balance (ulnar nerve), function in the brachial plexus patients
